Bucegi Mountains

From Piatra Arsă Chalet to Babele, the path marked with a yellow stripe crosses the surface of Jepilor Mari uphill. Here we meet the fork towards the Jepi Canton - Urlătoarea - Poiana Țapului or Bușteni. Next, the ascent becomes more pronounced, we cross the watershed between Izvorul Dorului and Jepi and then it meets the road that path from Cabana Caraiman.

We then descend into a wide gorge dominated by the steep Babele. From here, a beautiful panorama of Caraiman and Jepilor Valley opens again. Before climbing the last steep climb to Cabana Babele we meet the marking on the Jepilor Valley (blue cross). On a long ridge sprinkled with stone formations is the Babele Chalet.
