T33. Cabana Omu - Bran Poarta (prin Valea Gaura)It is an inaccessible route in the cold season. The ridge path is common to two other routes, through Clincea red band and Ciubotea yellow triangle. The landscape is spectacular and gives us an overview of the Rucăr-Bran corridor, the western slope of the Bucegi Mountains and Piatra Craiului.
We descend into the Gaura Valley, after first crossing the Gălbinarilor valley. We go through a part at the base of Guțanului mountain and finally we enter the valley that reaches Moara Dracului and the waterfall with the same name. We meet a part of the rubble and then descend in the forested area crossed by the road of Simon. From here the path climbs again to a peak to Poiana dintre Văi. The last part calms down and continues with the communal road. Towards the end we meet the forks of the routes through Clincea and Ciubotea.
