The historical monument from the 19th century is known as the "Sofian" House and represents one of the most significant buildings in Botoșani, bearing deep traces of the passage of time.
This historical monument was entrusted for administration to the Metropolitanate of Moldova and Bucovina by the decision of the Botoșani County Council on January 9, 2003, but it is in an advanced state of decay.
