The Millennium Church is a modern interpretation of a place of worship, designed by the Hungarian architect Imre Makovecz. Built near the "Sfânta Cruce" church, located on Florilor street, the new church, completed in 2003, represents an innovative approach to spirituality that dominates those who enter, giving them, thanks to the glass dome, the feeling that they are under the gaze of divinity.
From above, near the glass dome, the four angels: Saint Michael, Gabriel, Raphael and Uriel, watch over the service. The church has two towers above the entrances, each with five crosses, symbolizing the ten centuries of Hungarian Christianity.
