The new lighthouse rises gracefully near the station, being built in 1960 and representing one of the most fascinating buildings in Constanța. Standing 58 meters tall, it features a top decorated with a pyramidal trunk made of glass plates colored in shades of green, then covered by a dome wrapped in aluminum scales.
During sunny days, it intensely reflects the sun's rays, emanating a special glow, and at night, the powerful electric lamps inside it emit visible signals at a distance of about 36 kilometers out to sea.
