The Grădina Morii natural park, located on the banks of the Iza river, is a pleasant recreation destination for the city's residents. In this beautiful green space is a monumental gorun 30 meters high, with a straight trunk almost to the top, a dense and symmetrical crown, having a circumference of 4.60 meters and an age of about 350 years.
Also, in the same area, there is an impressive poplar with a height of 40 meters, a circumference of 8.20 meters, a diameter of 2.65 meters and an age of over 350 years. Its peak suffered damage from storms and electrical discharges.
