The casino in Slănic Moldova is a historical monument located in the city of Slănic Moldova.
The construction of the Casino took place between 1892-1894, in the Art Nouveau style, according to the plans of the architect George Sterian, with the involvement of H. Rick, at the initiative of Nicolae Ghica-Budești. It was originally built by Italian and local craftsmen. After 1948, the building became the House of Culture and housed a performance hall, the city library and various public services.
In 1960, two terraces were added to the building for a buffet, brasserie and guesthouse. The restoration of the building between 1986-1989 restored the casino to its original appearance, transforming it into a cultural-educational edifice.
The casino, with an area of 1,847 m2, was fully rehabilitated in 1994-1995, but despite numerous auctions in recent years, it has not been sold.
