The forest reserve located near Pîngărați commune, on the left side of the Păngărați stream, between the Văcăriei stream and the Brazi stream, includes approximately 500 specimens of yew (Taxus baccata) alongside other tree species such as pine, juniper, fir, spruce, beech, the hornbeam, the horn, the blood, the hazel and the birch.

In order to protect this reserve and its valuable species, especially the yew declared a monument of nature, it is recommended to fence the area to prevent the destruction of the stand.
