Dumbrava Stream is a protected area of ​​national interest, classified in IUCN category IV, being a botanical nature reserve. It is located in Cluj County, on the administrative territory of Ciurila commune.


This natural area is located in the south-central part of Cluj County, in the northeast area of ​​Ciurila village, near the county road DJ107R, which provides the connection between Sălicea and Şutu villages.


The nature reserve received the status of a protected area under Law no. 5 of March 6, 2000, which regulates the national territorial development plan, the section relating to protected areas. The total area of ​​the reserve is 0.50 hectares.


The protected area consists of a natural meadow located on the meadow of the Dumbrava Filei stream, a right tributary of the Hășdate river. A legally protected orchid species grows in this area, popularly known as the lady's slipper, with the scientific name Cypripedium calceolus.
