The Dobreanului Stream is a protected area of national interest, classified as IUCN Category IV, which means that it is a mixed nature reserve. It is located in the north of Harghita County, in the territory of Bilbor commune.

This nature reserve is also known as the Borviz Swamp or the Dobreanu Swamp. It covers an area of 4 hectares and is located in the Bilbor Depression, on the right bank of the Dobreanu Stream, a tributary of the Bistricioara River. Access to this place is from the northern part of the Bilbor village, in a westerly direction, through a secondary road that branches off from the DJ174A.

The name of the reserve comes from the existence of mineral water springs, locally known as "borviz", which feed the marshy land.

Within the reserve there are deposits of peat and calcareous tuff, in which relics of tundra vegetation and plant species from the Ice Age are preserved, all of which are great lovers of water and mineral salts. Similar to halophilic plants that indicate the presence of salt, these plant species act as “living compasses”, suggesting the proximity of mineral waters. Along the Dobreanu Valley there are also several pools designed for bathing, filled with mineral water and lined with wood.

The waters of Băi Dobreanu are rich in substances such as carbon dioxide, calcium, bicarbonate, magnesium and hydrogen sulfide, being recommended for external treatments.
