Bascov Lake is a reservoir built on the Argeș River, with the main purpose of producing hydroelectric energy. It is located in the area of Bascov commune, Argeș County, north of the city of Pitești. The lake was filled with water in 1970 and has a volume of 5.1 million cubic meters.
