Furnica, an impressive building, proves that even the annexes of the Royal Domain were made with the same care for monumentality, stylistic coherence, location and quality materials.
Although a modern tourist, ignorant of the area's history, might think that Furnica has always been a luxury inn, in fact, here were the "new stables", an elegantly designed complex by Karel Liman, inaugurated in 1912.
It is quite surprising to think that this architectural ensemble, balanced and proportioned, was intended for staff accommodation (40 rooms), for laundry and stables with the capacity to house 24 horses.
