The scientist Nicolae Iorga built his house in 1928, according to the projects developed by the architect Barnovski, adopting the Romanian architectural style specific to the mountainous area.

Built of brick and visible stone, the house has a mezzanine and a ground floor, being covered with shingles. Elevated with a pilastered porch, a wooden staircase and an arched porch, it completes the typical appearance of a Romanian house in the mountains.
