Built in 1626 on the site of a wooden church from the second half of the 15th century, it preserves, although with changes affecting the external plastic, the architecture specific to the mountain style of the 17th century: the facade in two registers of niches separated by a belt, the tower with eyebrow arches.

The Church of St. Elijah, built in the shape of a cross, was built in 1626. It has two towers and houses inside several old volumes such as "Apostolul", printed in 1683 in Bucharest, "Evanghelia", printed in 1697 in during the reign of C. Brâncoveanu, and a book about the Snagov monastery, including the "Lives of the Saints", printed at the beginning of the 18th century, etc. In the churchyard there is a stone cross dating from the reign of Şerban Cantacuzino.
