In 1552, the Şubesti Church was built to serve as a place of worship for the Şubari guild; later, in 1779, it was renovated under the careful supervision of Archimandrite Dositei and Logophat Trandafir, whose presence is immortalized in the votive painting in the pronaos.
The church impresses with the rich details of the paintings and ornaments both outside and inside, reflecting the characteristics of the Brancove style.
