The church contains older elements from the reign of the Árpád royal house and Gothic elements. It is important to note that there is still much uncertainty regarding the construction history.
The current church was built at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 19th century and was consecrated in the name of Saint Dominic in 1817.
The sculpture of the Madonna in the historical monument church has considerable value. It was made in the 15th century in the Şumuleu sculpture school.
The oil painting depicting the coronation of Mary dates from the 16th century. From an iconographic point of view, it is very interesting that behind Mary appears the triple image of Jesus, in the roles of priest, king and prophet.
