In honor of John of Hunyadi's victory at Belgrade (1456), in 1458 the Roman Catholic church was built, which houses several valuable objects.
This church is dedicated to the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the feast day of which is September 14.
The Catholics regained the church from the Unitarians in 1767, following a royal order. The building has undergone several modifications over time. The building consists of a nave, a long Gothic altar, a Baroque tower integrated into the western facade and two sacristies located on the sides of the sanctuary.
