The Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, located in the village of Belin, which belongs to the commune of Belin, is a historical monument.
This Romanian brick church was built in 1776, on the site of an older wooden church. The construction was carried out in a single stage by local craftsmen and is notable for its well-balanced proportions.
Architecturally, the church combines elements specific to the Romanian style with Renaissance influences, characteristic of places of worship in the region. The tower, which suffered serious damage, was strengthened in the 19th century with a system of oak yokes and pillars.
