The casino was built between 1904 and 1909 in an artistic style called Secession. Overall, the building presents an intriguing combination of decorative elements.
The top of the building is adorned with a cornice dominated by rostes (architectural structures similar to ancient vessels) having ram's heads and garlands of seaweed as ornamentation. Inside, luxury is highlighted by imposing staircases and balustrades, stucco-adorned columns and marble girdles on the walls.
