1886
The railway station was built in a classicist style, according to the designs of the architect A. D. Serres, between 1878 and 1886. The building has a rectangular plan, consists of a ground floor, has a terrace roof, a central dome and is covered with glazed tiles in several colors.
On the platform there are cast iron columns and two original pergolas. In front of the building, towards the street, there is a majolica vase. On the right side of the station there is an annex building, also with a rectangular plan, built in the same classicist style, with two floors. The station, under the administration of the Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Communications, is in a medium state of degradation. The annex building needs consolidation and restoration interventions.
