From Breaza, under the guidance of a guide, you can reach Ambrozie's Cell, located next to the wildest and most picturesque area of Pietra Soimului, a 15-meter high wall of eroded bare rock.

Ambrose's cell is located in the middle of this wall. A steep path leads you down to the bottom of the limestone wall, from where a short climb brings you about two meters higher, where a makeshift staircase awaits.

The cell consists of two small rooms in which several firids and sprites were carved with domestic or ritualistic destinations.

Ambrozie, originally from Breaza, with the lay name Tănase Rizea, became a monk as a young man at the Ciolanu Monastery, from where he went to the Romanian hermitage on Mount Athos.

On his return, he chose to isolate himself in the cell he dug into the wall of the Falcon Stone, actually setting up an older hollow.
He lived for 50 years in the cell that bears his name, securing the necessities of daily life from working in the vineyards of Năeni and Breaza or weaving baskets from rushes.
