Ochiul Beiului is a karst lake with an area of 284 m² located near the Beușnița Falls, on the Beu stream, in the Cheile Nerei-Beușnița National Park.
Lake Ochiul Beiului is located in a region of outstanding natural beauty in the Cheile Nerei-Beușnița National Park, on the border between the Anina Mountains and the Locvei Mountains, at an altitude of 310 meters. The lake has the shape of a crater with a depth of 3.6 meters, and its water is so clear that the trout swimming in it can be seen in detail.
It is fed by an underground spring, having a maximum depth of 3.6 meters.

Beiu Lake is a karst lake located in the commune of Sasca Montană, Caraș-Severin County, at an altitude of 310 meters, in a forest crossed by the Beiu River, located downstream of the Beușnița Waterfall, within the perimeter of the Cheile Nerei – Beușnița National Park.
It has a surface area of 284 square meters, a maximum depth of 3.6 meters and a diameter of approximately 15 meters. The average annual temperature of the lake water varies between +4° and +8°C, which means that the water never freezes.
Beiu Lake is fed by an underwater spring and impresses with the remarkable clarity of the water, but especially with its unique color, a combination of turquoise, bluish and greenish shades.
